Hi! My name is Jaz. My aim is to become a professional server manager regarding community services- ‘community manager’ if you will! I’ve had experience with owning and managing discord servers, and moderating various sized Minecraft servers as well; I know my way around these things! Its been a long term dream of mine to do so. However, I am unsure of how to put myself out there and I guess ‘become’ a community manager?? I hope that makes sense- If anyone has some tips on how I should go about that and getting myself hired, please let me know!

I can't really say much on how to get hired or become a community manager but I can give some advice from a developers perspective that could be used in your case as well. First from what I've seen you don't become a manager or developer by just saying it or having the needed knowledge but by other people noticing acknowledging you as one, you can get to that level by just being good at what you do and making sure other people see that you're good at it. As for how to get hired its not too difficult if you're good at your job. Getting hired outside of mc-market would be as simple as getting recommended by another person you did free or payed work for, owning or being known for owning a well managed and made server, being well known in a community or a well thought out and written portfolio and website (while we're at that if you want to have some info about you outside of mc-market threads make a website not a discord server since there are people that don't use discord or think using it for business isn't professional)! if you're trying to get hired over mc-market I'd suggest getting some reactions and age on your account as well as a account upgrade since it will make people trust you and your skills more. It will definitely take some time to get popular and noticed but if you love what you do that time will pass in no time! I wish you the best of luck! :)
