Needing help with a new PC!

Hello fam,

I'm wanting to buy a new PC but I'm unsure if buying a pre-built gaming one would be good or building one myself.

I currently have these two in mind

But my lowest I wish to spend is $800 and my max $1000 as I'm needing to save up again for a car.

I wish for it to run Minecraft, CSGO, GTA V, BO2 along with render videos decently along with record them with close to 120 FPS if not, close to that.

I'm no good at building PCs so if you all could help suggest a good PC with a sick case then I would really appreciate it!

I will put it straight, build it your self and pay $600 pay for a pre built and pay $1500

250 SSD install the OS on here
1TB hardrive any to install games

Also a decent fan(silent would be better)

I didn't even really need to read the rest of your post, as the most important point there was that you're wondering whether or not to go for pre-built or to build it yourself.

Simply put, build it yourself. There is no reason to get a pre-built PC, as all it does is waste money as builders really like to raise the price if their customer doesn't know better. If you build it yourself it'll not only be vastly cheaper, it'll also be tailored to your needs, rather than a badly balanced build put together to maximise profit.

Pre-built computers tend to use very, very cheap parts, and only actually focus budget on the aspects that they like to advertise using buzzwords, so you'll get things like "i7 processor!" which actually means they've chosen the lowest end i7 they could find. Even more so when regarding graphics cards, which they'll advertise as "Nvidia GeForce Graphics" which sounds impressive and all, however this is incredibly vague as that accurately describes the entire GPU range from Titan X's to horrifically underpowered cards that could barely run frogger (slight exaggeration).

Build it yourself, save money, enjoy the process, and at the end you'll have a computer much better suited to your needs than you could ever get from some crappy pre-built machine.

He did say that he wanted 120fps recording, and I'm not really sure an i3 and a 960 can keep up with that kind of overhead.

Ew, try multitasking on that thing with an i3.
Replace the GFX card for something like a GTX 970 and upgrade the CPU to a locked i7.

If you're not overclocking then you can run a build happily on a stock cooler, hence why on the build I listed there I put on an h100i and also used a Z97 board. Just thought I should mention too, that motherboard has a wifi antenna so you can use it anywhere in your house.

Rendering my friend, but I did use an i5 in the build for budget reasons. As a person with a 4790k I can say that hyper threading really makes the difference with rendering and encoding.
