Rendering my friend, but I did use an i5 in the build for budget reasons. As a person with a 4790k I can say that hyper threading really makes the difference with rendering and encoding.

Yeah, they are pretty good over there and if you mark your post as [NZ] they will be able to help you out with a good NZ price to performance build.

Might want to say goodbye to those dreams of 120fps recording. Either way, you still should build it yourself, even more so at this price point. The cheaper the pre-built the exponentially crappier it gets.

You could make your own a better one instead of buying a premade they cost a shit ton for labor.

I'd be wanting another monitor as I currently use my laptop monitor plus a Veon 16' or someshit lmao.

Now that is important, Cuz the monitor will be at least $200, if you want to be ble to record at 120 fps.

There you go http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HtGTQ7 <- It's a bit over budget, @1100$, but it's the 6th gen Skylake Processor, a really good video board for the price/power ratio and an SSD of 250 GB. You can use the HDD you currently have for storage. One mention is that we went low budget on the case and I added 16 gb of ram. you can get one module of 8gb to reduce some budget. The only downside of the case is that you need to remove the hdd trays to make room for the Videoboard. Not a biggie, you still have a lot of room into it for your storage.
