Hello! Many of you don't know me, but my name is Isaac (in game name is Fastened). I have recently decided to start up my own server. This server will be known as Craftify. To let everyone know, I am actually taking my server seriously. I am currently using ApexMinecraftHosting as a temporary host, but pre-launch I will be switching to Anvilnode and using their 165 suggest player/9GB plan + DDoS protection. I have also purchased loads of server art such as banners, icons, and a logo. Once they're are sent to me I will add them to this thread. I am also setting aside $400 of advertising for the month of April. The reason I am saying those details is because after reviewing this forum I saw that half of the people that make the requesting threads haven't gotten past development. I want to show everyone I'm ready for the long road ahead. I have loads of past experience as a staff member. I was Helper for the Archon for a short amount of time, Moderator on SquadCraft, and a Community Manager for YayMC. Those are just the larger servers.

What makes Craftify different? Craftify is a Factions server that will include a rankup system & custom potions. Later on though custom enchants might be added. We will be using Enjin Ultimate as our Forums site & Skype as our application for the staff chats. Although we could eventually switch to Slack or Discord. The spawn is also the Hazard Craft 2.0 spawn, edited, and with permission of use graciously from Aschorren/Sciatis. Craftify will also have an awesome server trailer made from EnderWorkBench Studios!

I've had many past experiences as Staff although not all of them have been in the Helper position of staff, although I feel that all of the positions contributed to making me a more qualified individual as a server 'Helper'

Below I'll list my past experiences as a member of the Server Staff Team - (Not all of the positions I mentioned below were 'Helper' but all of the positions I mentioned below directly relate to my qualifications as a 'Helper')

Artificial Craft (AC) (40-60 player base) (Community Manager, Moderator, Chat - Mod) -

Artificial Craft released in the Summer of 2012 under the server name of "Boom Craft". During the Winter of 2012 it shut down due to inactivity and financial problems. In the Spring of 2013 it was revamped and rebranded as "Artificial Craft" (AC). 'Artificial Craft' was a Towny server, with a very professional, mature and experienced Staff Team. The AC community was very tight and helpful, and I'm proud to say I contributed to the development of the community and server in general. In the Summer of 2013 I was promoted to Chat - Mod, I spent most of my hours monitoring public and private chat, I also helped with community development and forums monitoring. 4-5 months (Fall 2013) after being promoted to 'Chat - Mod' I was offered an amazing opportunity to become a server wide 'Moderator' as well as become an official member of the 'Community Management Team'. I excelled as both a 'Moderator' and 'CM' (Community Manager). I gained loads of experience as a staff member and met life long friends while I was part of the Artificial Craft Staff Team. Although I wasn't technically a 'Helper' on AC, I felt like many of the jobs I had as a 'Moderator' and 'Chat - Mod' are similar to the jobs of a 'Helper'. The server shutdown permanently in the Summer of 2014, right before its 2 year anniversary due to financial issues.

Encrypted PvP (60-80 Player Base) (Helper, Chat Moderator) -

In the Fall of 2014 I encountered faction server 'Encrypted PvP' while scrolling through YouTube videos. It took me a little while to warm to the community, as it was a bit inactive and fairly stale, but the factions experience and the professional staff team made up for the lack of community. After playing actively, posting regularly on the forums and helping others I was promoted in the Spring of 2015, I spent 2 weeks as 'Trial Helper' before I was promoted officially to 'Helper' I spent 6-7 months as 'Helper' recording hackers, helping players and regularly updating and monitoring the forums, and my hard work was rewarded with a promotion to 'Chat Mod' in December 2015. I was 'Chat Mod' until January 2016, and although I was promoted to Moderator in January 2016, I didn't feel like it fits under the category "Past Staff Experience" because I didn't get to "Experience" being a Moderator. Encrypted PvP shutdown in Early February 2016.

I left out a few of the smaller servers I was staff on either because the server had a very short 'life-span' or because the staff team was unprofessional organized, or abusive.

I have owned a pretty successful server called fishyfactions that have a player base of around 25-30 players and had 2000 usernames recorded on it with about $100 in donations in one month. Also I have been co-owner, admin, and moderater on countless servers and have also been payed to set up a server from scratch including permissions and building for $10 an hour. This guy just wanted to advertise and own his own server. Currently I am co-owner of a server that is being remodeled right now and helper on a kit PvP server that is turning into a factions server as of now. This server had about 15-20 players on it as a kit PvP server. In the past as I said I have been staff on many servers that had a player base of around 10-20 players. I have played Minecraft since beta and factions since thd plugin came out so I am knowlegable on the plugin itself and Minecraft in general. I would love to help your server reach its full potential and blossom to its max.

What past experience do you have in this position?: I have owned 9 servers, all for the most part successful gaining around 40 players each server, I am also currently working on a new server that will have a large player base. I have moderated a server called ToxicDrugCraft which is now cancelled but let me reassure you, my lack of moderating is nothing to worry about as I am very, very experienced with handling players who are abusing rules etc... I have been an admin and moderator on countless other servers that I am afraid I forget the name of. All the 9 servers I have owned have all been professionally hosted and have all been somewhat successful.

Anything else to add?: Yes, a few key points I want to add.

* I feel like I could be a big help to this server because of all my experience that I have gathered over the past ~4 years. I know exactly how to handle players breaking the rules, lets say for instance a player is glitching, I would kindly give them one warning, if the player continued on I would issue a second warning, if they still continued on after that I would kick them from the server saying that what they have done is wrong, if they still decide to continue I would then issue a temp-ban if that's within my permission, I would then also report to a staff member of higher ranking then myself.

* I am able to record and upload videos to YouTube or any other video uploading source. I would upload videos of hackers and cheaters if necessary.

* Lets say there was a huge game-breaking glitch on the server and I was the only staff member online at the time. I would instantly be able to calm everyone down and warn the server that if they abused this glitch they would be punished accordingly, I would then immediately contact an Admin/Higher up staff member to take the situation off my hands because I would not have the power to fix it on hand. While waiting for a staff member of a higher rank to get on I would then proceed to answer any remaining questions and look out for more rule breakers.

* Another upside is I can be on a good sum of the day, always on the lookout for rule breakers.

* I can act in the moment and be able to handle any situation. I am always ready to help someone if needed. I quickly respond to a call of action or need from another player/staff. I am focused on chat, making sure there are no chat offenders, and also looking out for rule breakers in-game. I'm not worried about gameplay as I am as much as helping other players and not waiting until it's convenient for me, but rather when someone needs me.

* If I am provided with this position I will take it very seriously and never let anyone down. I will provide the community with a moderator who not only will provide a fun environment to play in, but also a hacker free environment.

* If there is a website I will also do my best to answer everyone's questions and be active on the forums.

My first staff position was in 2013 on a small factions server called RaidGasm where I was a moderator. Unfortunately, the server closed soon after I was accepted to what I assume was because of financial reasons. Fast forward to 2015, I was accepted as moderator on a modded server called CastrumGaming. I learned all the basic staff commands, as well as how to be staff in general, on CastrumGaming.
