Throughout the years, there have been plenty of cases where users have gained false negative reputation and staff haven't been bothered to remove it because they've categorized it as reasonable or true. I think that if someone wants to add negative rep, they should require proof of someone being "toxic and unprofessional", "disrespectful" or someone just saying "deal with caution".
This also applies to people only adding negative reputation back because you did it to them.

Ideally if you're going to enforce evidence requirement for negative reputation, you'll need to equally supply evidence of positive reputation with proof the user did deal with you.

Sure, that could be added too. There are a lot of people who just beg their friends for positive reputation through Discord DMs, etc.[DOUBLEPOST=1518290250][/DOUBLEPOST]

Mostly what I'm saying is that people are sooner to look at negative reputation if you have 2-4 rather than positive reputation if you have practically 10 times as much positive than negative.

I think you should be allowed to devouch somebodys management offering thread for ddosing when you've worked with them without getting a negative reputation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The staff dont care so I get the copied and pasted message

I don't think so, the reputation system is also based off of opinion on that user, not just the deals you've done with them.

I disagree because I'm too lazy to gather evidence every time. Also as Marek said, some rep is based off an opinion you've gathered of that person not just deals you've done, so those would be hard to provide evidence for.

I never said it was just from deals.

I know... I'm just saying it's harder to gather evidence for an opinion you've built up
It's really not. If you're going to go around saying people are toxic, unprofessional, etc. you should have some kind of evidence to your claims. Myself and multiple other users are sick of people giving false negative reputation just because they're butthurt that you gave them negative reputation or didn't work for them, etc. and staff just look over it as if it's not a big deal even though everyone is super stingy about reputation and they pay closer attention to negative reputation rather than positive.

Good point.

require a link to a thread for rep
what’s that hard to understand? lmfao
They didn't specify, so I was trying to better understand what they meant.

It is planned to introduce a field for users to post proof of their reputation in the next update.

Thanks, I'll move this to pending.
