Negative rep

I was recently given a negative rep by Thom that states I shouldn’t be trusted nor taken seriously. This has affected my trades and the negative rep was due to some argument. Is this allowed?

Rep is allowed as long as it shows detail and is valid.

Judging by the wording of the thread and reputation itself, I imagine it meets that criteria.

Well, considering the reputation doesn't provide any sort of proof and the fact that I don't see any posts of theirs which would consider them toxic, unprofessional or untrustworthy, I would disagree.

Just because they had an argument/disagreement doesn't mean he is any less trustworthy.

Allegiant What situation led up to them placing a negative reputation on your account? Might give us a clearer view of what happened.

Although I agree with you on how it doesn’t make OP less trustworthy, it’s still allowed to give people negative reputation over toxicity.

Also, the rep could be reported for proof, but it’s likely to just be reposted by the user who repped OP with some proof added.

Allegiant I don't know what the argument was about but if you feel the reputation was unwarranted, you can report it with words to the effect of the user not providing proof and that what they're saying is false.

Just read the thread and he’s now unfortunately in the wrong just as much as the user who repped him by trashing sales.
