Just do it! It helps, maybe s seperate red number on a profile for negative ratings. And you could report them if abuse

This forum currently only has ratings... stop freaking thinking of ratings as rep. I've seen you say that so many times and tried to correct you each time.

Also no there shouldn't be a negative rating due to the simple fact how many people would "abuse" it.

It would be easier that looking at a profile for "de"vouches

Seems oddly similar to the trade ratings system introduced not so long ago, which unfortunately had to be removed due to the mass number of users abusing it. I highly doubt this would work out - and if it was to be introduced it would be in the form of an improved trade rating system like before.

As stated above, this would most likely be heavily abused. The ratings shouldn't be modified. Like ever.
