Network Plugin Configurations

Hello,

I am making a small network to play on with my friends. It will be released to the public in the future, so I need some good basics with it... This will not be a money churning server, just something small and friendly. So I have a small budget for this...

Needs:
Punishment System & configuration

- Must be universal across the entire bungee network
- Optional, will be using mybb... can this link to this or have a web interface?​

Ticket System

- Must be universal across the entire bungee network
- Easy to use
- Optional, will be using mybb... can this link to this or have a web interface?​

Permissions System

- What systems are best for a bungee network.

- Need to have same ranks synced
- Need different permissions on different servers (Skyblock, Feudal, Creative, Etc)​

What is out there for this, what do you all use? Are there any all in one managers?

Hello, here's my tips.

Permissions System = LuckPerms

I currently lack the time to be able to do this, let alone for free but I'll provide you with help given you want to do it yourself.

Your best option would be purchasing LiteBans as it is the only punishment plugin that supports MySQL (to my knowledge) therefore the only one that can "sync" across servers. Further along the line you can also setup the php page as well.

For permissions, LuckPerms. While it's a little bit of a learning curve LuckPerms supports MySQL, Per World Permissions, Per-server permissions and a plethora of more features as well.

Thanks for these, I started looking in to LuckPerms on the above post from OrangeFox and it looks amazing! I do not know sql, but from what I am reading, I could just do a export to file, then import to file? I might be misunderstanding that... either way, it does look amazingly flexible!

YES!!!! I found this a while back when working on a single server, but not bungee... I am so happy the dev passed it on! THANK YOU!!!

I recommend https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/networkmanager.28456/ you can do tickets bans perms in one plugin and a webinterface

All you need to do is setup the MySQL database, it's fairly straight-forward.

If you plan on running on a VPS, while I recommend Debian to most of my clients Ubuntu 18.04 is more user-friendly for the most part. Below are a few server providers I tend to use.

If you meant linking the perms trough the network and having a multi game-mode network, imo that is not really a good option to go with.

Why not? lel, LuckPerms you can do anything what you want. If you are expert on LP, of course, you can do anything easily, like me, i am expert, and i use it in Network Minigames, and all works fine how i like.
