Hi,

I am a server owner of multiple Minecraft networks and very blessed in the year of 2015. Because of my network(s) I was able to afford to live a very lavish lifestyle in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California after moving from Boston, MA with my parents. The network was built with the best backend strategy with the industry's leading development team and was influenced by YouTube's biggest sensations like:
  • Joey Graceffa
  • Graser10
  • xBayani
  • Hbomb94
  • StrauberryJam
And the network was able to achieve a high enough traffic to receive organic traffic from other YouTubers.

The server at it's peak was reaching 900 players concurrently earlier this year and player count has dropped to ~250 but server is still generating healthy revenue every month with over 15,000 customers, automatic newsletter subscriptions, professional forums, professional logo done by finsgraphics, all graphics in psd format, all original and unencrypted files, and servers located in NYC.

Only taking serious inquiries and any additional information can be supplied in confidentiality via private communication levels. Private message me to express interest.

It me[DOUBLEPOST=1451322658,1451322569][/DOUBLEPOST]
The problem with this is, as an ex player of the server, I think that twitter account isn't run by Kevin...
It is, why would it not be?

The original owner, I think his name was Ronbo or something like that, was the lead developer for that. Once he left, it kind of fell apart. But yes, it was really good, that is actually one of the game modes that was built up from the ground because of its amazing features and work put into it, unlike Factions that was built by YouTubers etc... Don't get me wrong, YouTubers are amazing for the server and they also take a ton of work to get, just that it doesn't require an amazing server.

Can confirm, am Ronbo, original owner from the very beginning when Kastia was called RonboRPG lol

Fair word of warning here: when I left the server about a year ago, Kevin was the manager for a group of youtubers who continued to run the server. I didn't keep up with the server beyond having a bit of silly fun griefing and getting banned, so I don't know for sure at exactly what point the other Youtubers mentioned (Graser, Hbomb, Bayani) who were the main owners left the server all to Kevin.

At the time of my leaving, the server had a little over $100k in profit and 100k unique logins registered on the RPG server (when I took down the RPG the database for it had just over 100k unique entries), and peaked at 700 online. I would imagine that much of the remaining advertised profit was made while the Youtubers still played and made videos on the servers.

I won't speak on the current state of Kastia since, as I said, I haven't been keeping up. I've heard rumors about its decline but won't go into detail since I don't feel qualified to speak on that and I don't want to clutter this post with hearsay.

Not trying to slander just to mess with Kevin personally as I have nothing against him, but as one of the oldest members of mc-market (I was there when the founder came up with the idea in a skype group) I don't want anyone else here to buy into a server that may have been grossly misrepresented.

tl;dr if you plan to buy this server, make sure you've clarified all the details about exactly when money was made on this server. I may be mistaken, but it would be wise to see if the server is actually still earning much since the server had already made over $100k when I left about a year ago (and again, if I'm mistaken and this $150k figure does not include that amount, then I apologize for my misunderstanding).

A few other notes:

- As far as I know the twitter account is run by Kevin, I gave him full details when I left.

- As others have said, mcm.kastia.net redirecting here is pretty much definitive proof that this is legit, since obviously he controls the domain

- I believe the codebase was largely rewritten after I left (I coded everything originally), which is a plus b/c he was paying people who are probably more organized than I am (they tried to remake my RPG and couldn't understand my code lol)

- The server has some pretty sick builds

Disclaimer: Like Ronbo, I'm a really old worker on the project. I started working with Ronbo from his RonboRPG, and have followed along for a long time. I am no longer apart of the project, and only speak from past experiences.

I have some previous experience with this. I was apart of a network called Boxhead, we ran a pretty shoddy system. Everything was rushed, and made solely for profit, without really taking fun into it. The business that we had was pretty okay, and it was sold by the owner for about 30k. He also didn't inform any of the volunteers on the server that this was happening, and included us as a selling point. One of the other selling points was the contacts.

The owner had built up relations with a lot of people, and they were working out, but you can't just sell relationships with people very well. The major point here is that he was basically selling the contact info and a vouch from him, maybe not even that. This new guy would have to go through all the steps the last guy did, of building trust, and good relations with the people. So let's say you sell these contacts, these people who have a good view of the server, and are more likely to work with the server. Would you say that they're more likely to work with Kastia, or that they're more likely to work with you? That you've made a good impression, that you've done good business deals, that you've done a professional job, or that Kastia the brand has?.

The guy who bought Boxhead, well he didn't have a staff team afterwards. Staff on most servers are complete volunteer workers, and only on the generosity of some people will the owners spread the wealth, but often not. Our staff team found out the day of the sale that there was going to be a new owner, and boy, it was not a seamless switch.

We didn't find out from the owner, we found out from the devs who were furious that their code was being sold without them getting paid, that our builds were getting sold, that all of our work was being sold by one guy. It was definitely frustrating, and from my experience, it didn't work out too well for the new owner. Oh sure he got contacts, but nothing a good business email to a Youtuber or business couldn't have gotten you. Serious business inquiries to Youtubers will get you their Skype, their contact info, and while Kastia might have trust built up as a brand, I'm highly positive that the next owner will not have an in with them.

TL;DR You can't sell a good relationship with someone so easily, and business contacts are easily attained.

Just like Ronbo and Rotten, I also had experience of working with Kastia as a moderator.

I just want to point out for any potential buyers that this post is very misleading. As Ronbo mentioned, the server had roughly 100k in profits once he had left the server. However, Kevin took full ownership of Kastia about a year ago. In this time frame, Kastia has only profited around $40,000 (not the $150,000 that was mentioned). This is not enough to maintain a "lavish lifestyle in the suburbs Los Angeles", especially taking into consideration that this 40K profit did not include the developer and server expenses. Most of the game modes on the server have been abandoned or poorly coded. I believe the only servers that are working somewhat decently are the factions servers. Due to the poor management of Kastia, countless staff members, developers, and managers have resigned. There's also currently no developers on Kastia, so many players are leaving due to the lack of activity. And all those "youtube sensations" that once played on the server want nothing more to do with it.

Please be careful when considering this purchase and know that the seller isn't completely credible.

Goodluck Kevin.

I played once or twice, sub-par gamemodes. Quality wasn't the best. But if bought, that can be easily fixed.

Spoiler alert;
1) This server has no staff team anymore
2) Pretty much everything is broken
3) I'll agree with Ronbo there are some pretty cool maps
4) Any staff still left don't support the server being sold.

Tru Zodia but this can easily be fixed with a good owner and developer who are determined to make a good server

Talked to Kevin on Skype for nearly an hour. This server is more than what it seems -- it could honestly become one of the best networks out there.

I'm going to pull a few strings and drop down an offer in the near future (I believe). For all you that believe he is scamming, he also talked to me in-game, where he's the Owner. Kevin has his best interest in the server and will sell it to the person he believes is most worthy, which explains why he denied an offer of 50k. He's a great guy, and definitely one to trust. His community is tightly knit, and one of the most powerful in the server industry.

Although I want my offer to be accepted, do not refrain from doing business with Kevin. His server is full of potential & he showed me that.
Kevin has a way of wording things in a seemingly positive manner. He is the owner of Kastia, however, he is an entrepreneur and will try to squeeze every penny out of you. To be quite honest with you, Kastia is a sinking ship. I've been apart of this server for over a year, and I've seen its highs and its lows. Its current status is at an all time low. The community is falling apart, the player base is dropping rapidly, and the game modes are glitched to the point of no return. It's better to invest in a server that will actually gain profits rather than putting a buyer in debt. It's probably a smarter idea to start your own server from scratch because most of the coding on the newer game modes on Kastia are from under-experienced developers and the older coding has become outdated with the new updates. If you want to spend over thirty grand on a mediocre server, be my guest, but just know that it's going to take you quite a few years to earn your money back.
