I'm currently working with a small team on a way to completely eliminate scams whatsoever.

You can deal with whoever you want, even users once banned on MCM for scamming, you can go first, and you can make deals for any amount of money. All with 100% guarantee that you are protected against scams.

People might still scam you like normal, but you have 100% guarantee from me and the other team members that you will get all of your money back without even having to talk to the scammer again.

It's like scam reports on MCM but with this, the scammer gets banned AND you get your money back. Also, reports don't get backed up 3 weeks. A scam report takes 5 minutes to resolve. You'll just have to wait for a staff to come online (every day, unless holiday/vacation).

You also do not have to deal with PayPal. You won't have to worry about your account being closed for no reason, and you have to be 13 or older, not 18 or older.

It's not really a crypto

Rift is the name of a network of 4 Discord servers and I am the owner of all of them

Each time you buy them, you automatically get 1 entry into a giveaway for 30 days of Discord Nitro. The giveaways are nonstop, once a month.

You can also use the rift coins to donate to streamers/youtubers in a server called "live" (owned by rift)

just an idea, but you should make like an escrow where the seller would put the money/account/whatever it is should be given to a person/bot and the same for the buyer, then checks if they work etc and then proceed to give each other the stuff that they bought

If it doesn't work, it's as simple as just running !take 100 from scamer and !give 100 to victim

Most things are finished. I will make a proper thread later detailing everything when the numbers are finalized. We are currently waiting on our bot developer to finish the custom bot which will handle RiftCoin however it's that time of the school year with finals so it may take 3-4 weeks.

I really do appreciate everyones interest in this, it was just a wacky idea I had months ago and Rift as a whole is now my dream I'm chasing

iSource came to me with this idea in mind and I saw the potential in it. As viewers, we can not deny that small streamers do not get the publicity they deserve. Who here scrolls down to the bottom when searching through twitch.tv for a streamer to watch content? Most people ignore these creators because they're viewer count is low. Others just don't notice them.

Rift - Live is a place where these streamers, youtubers, artists, or essentially any content producer can receive this publicity, and become the "top" streamer, except within a different platform. We also offer plentiful incentives for the streamer to help them increase they're pull, and draw in new viewers to help them grow. An implementation we added are Rift Coins, which is a currency in Rift. In Live, viewers may only be able to send Rift Coins to streamers at a fee of 5% and nothing else, No hidden fees! Rift Coins are a way for viewers to give sort of a "thank you" gift towards these small content creators. Youtube doesn't pay small content creators for the views they do manage to gather, and a lot of sponsorships/parents search for creators that aren't fresh.

We welcome all content creators to join! Weather you're an artist selling you're art, we take 0% tax on your work! We only tax Rift Coins by a very small percentage. Streamers and Youtubers receive ALL of they're donations and can choose various ways to spend it to draw in more viewers, or even cash it out. If you want to ensure your favorite creator is receiving 100% of they're donations, you can purchase a premium called Live+ which removes ALL taxes on your donations. This means the content creator will receive 100% donation instead of 95% donation. :tup:

Within Rift Marketplace, we offer a protection. All Rift Coin transactions are recorded and documented. If a user cashes out and there is a pending scam report on them, we deny the cash-out and impose an investigation. If the user is attempting to scam, we will strip they're balance and ban them. All users who have been scammed will be documented, and upon banning the user we will refund ALL personal who have been tricked.

That’s sounds like a very powerful tool that could be abused if fallen into the wrong hands.

But how are you going to take that amount, surely the scammer could cash out this crypto currency, then you'd be totally powerless.
And if it's not a crypto currency, then they could just transfer it to somewhere else.
It's not thought through enough to be effective, unplanned scam prevention could cost you thousands.

As well as tax implications when using a system like this. Because it's "not a crypto currency"

Taxes weren't considered, and I don't think you have to file them since it's considered "self-employed".
