This host is absolutely awful. After waiting for a response on my ticket for about 6 days (because my server had been offline for a week with no explanation), he responded and said "You were on the US node that got removed as the provider completely stopped providing services. All data on there is gone unfortunately."

This is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with (and this is coming from a guy who used to shop on illegal chinese websites and other stuff). I lost all my files and the money I spent on the host. I am trying to see if I can open a paypal dispute.

Unfortunately they should've made backups from not only your server but almost all servers they are providing.

They're not immediately bad, but they're starters so give it some time. Sorry for your money though.

lol after the CEO being unhelpful for like a week, he decided he's gonna care about the company now. He said that the server should be online soon. I'm gonna grab my files and go but if the server actually does come online and I can (which it hasn't yet) then I'll stop shitting on their company.

We have an old backup but it's pretty old.

And btw, they are immediately bad. They lost my files and failed to give me proper support for about a week. If you're a host but not only lose your clients files and fail to provide service and ALSO give shit suppport, you're a bad host. There's no excuse lmao

Well maybe thats not only OVSUS their fault that your service went down. It could also be the provider. But the support well maybe they can improve that. But also if you want to be secure then I would suggest you making your own backups as well, so this is also a bit your own fault in my opinion.

It doesn't matter if it is the provider. It is the host's fault for choosing a provider that is unreliable. The host takes responsibility for all. It is the host's fault.

And like the host needing to take responsibility, I do as well. You are correct, I made a mistake by now making backups.

Shockbyte has purchased ovsus, I find it strange how they've done this after Ovsus has been exposed & has such a bad rep.
