Why did they change it ? And they even keep giving the wrong links (help.mojang.com) on twitter

I would assume it is because more people visit the Minecraft website instead of the Mojang website when looking for help and it is probably easier to maintain when all in one place?

Mojang have moved a lot to minecraft.net. It's pretty expected they post wrong links, buy not sure how long for.

Probably kids would be looking for the “Minecraft” name if they are looking for support. It likely clears a lot of confusion since some kids might not know about Mojang or the name, and wouldn’t trust that domain as much.
