Good Morning i hope your all well?

Myself and my friend are looking into starting our own hosting provider that specializes in Cheap services but excellent support our aim is to achieve what most hosts cant.

The main aim of our provider : lots of community members out there are looking to buy website hosting, Virtual private servers, Gaming servers and other servers that we host but the main concern is there either to expensive or the support is little to nothing.

Our aim is to fix both of these to bring cheap reliable servers but offer top-notch support to the point where our support times are below 10 minutes on ALL platforms.

This being said we are looking for people to help us even though we wont be paying straight away for our support and sales the aim is within 1-2 months of being active we will have enough profit for every staff to be happy with!

If you are interested in being part of this venture to above and beyond
Please respond to this thread or send me a message.
Thanks for reading!

I think you underestimate the competition, there are a lot of hosting companies out there (arguably too many) that are extremely cheap and provide excelent support. Most of them start with the same idea and realize after a few months that it is not as easy as they expect and they have to close because there is not enough money coming in. So besides those 2 points what makes you think you can succeed in this competitive industry and achieve replies below 10 minues when you have a limited amount of volunteers? Just wondering, anyways good luck with your project.

Love the questions,

Arguably i see where your points come from, let me point a few things out I completely get that most hosting providers close within months due to lack of funding when i have a idea such as this in my head i don't stop until i make a success of it. the background of myself is I've been in hosting before where we made £1100 - £1500 profit in over 12 months if you work that out that's below £100 or above £100 monthly. so I've got the determination the drive and the passion to make the company a successful as it can be.

I have a Job in real life that earns me over £1000 a month so if some months we don't get the profits we require i would happily take it from my money as unlike most i don't have any commitments unlike some hosts where they have children expensive lifestyles etc...

Again back to the volunteers im not 100% if i put the information as clearly as possible but i dont expect anyone to work for free how we work is our staff will get there Hourly rate per the UNITED KINGDOM National minimum wage guidelines https://www.gov.uk/national-minimum-wage-rates
Based on a 0 hour contract meaning some weeks you could do 5 hours some 25 hours all depends on the age and role you currently hold with us.

So our aim is to help customers as much as possible we understand that sometimes the services aint upto standard and some customers wish for refunds. Now if we cannot solve the issue inhouse we will happily offer refunds. Subject that there is a fault of our own and customers isn't doing it to get there money back out of spite etc.

I would personally say out host may be new but expect some amazing things to happen over the next few months.

Thanks for your questions if you have any more dont hesitate to add me on Discord. : XlegionXwarrior10#5315

Kind regards.

I highly advise against selling gaming servers initially as the market is saturated to the point where it's very unlikely someone would choose you over a leading host. There's so much overlap between hosts in their marketing materials, people are just going to choose whatever is in the top 5 Google search results for "best minecraft hosting."

All of hosting in general is quite saturated, but website and VPS are lesser so.

I would suggest starting in website hosting and VPS's. There's many parts of the product to distinguish yourself from the competition, and it's not going to cost you an arm and a leg in marketing to get the tiniest edge over your foe.

As a word of warning for website hosting, it's best to just rent your own server, not VPS, rather than using reseller hosting. There will be a point where you outgrow the locked-down environment that reseller hosting provides. A "premier" license from cPanel is only $48.50/month and it provides 100 accounts, it's only $0.30 per account after their 100 account limit. It's worth the money to start in a full server rather than dealing with the hassle of migrating accounts from reseller hosting.

Just my two cents.
