New laptop or used razer blade stealth

So. I have been struggling with this decision for a while

I have never bought from eBay. And my Christmas budget is either 500 or 750 or more maybe.

And my DREAM laptop is a razer blade. Any kind. Just a razer blade. I travel a lot. Making me pretty much immune from buying a big bulky pc

Right now I have an Acer aspire vx15. Which does the job. It has a 1050 inside of it and can play most games on medium graphics at 60 fps. However. It is extremely heavy . Like really really heavy. And so I cannot use it for school. Plus it is bulky.

I expect my Acer to last atleast another year.

For Christmas I would like a school laptop and editing laptop. And can play a few light weight games

Now I have always dreamt of a razer blade but considering the prices are always 1k and above for the lowest model. I can almost guarantee not being able to buy it new.


Conclusion:
I have never bought off of eBay. Should I risk that and get a 750 dollar razer blade 2015 edition used. By a seller is 100%

Or should I buy a new laptop. Keep in mind it has to be fast and can edit for 750. Please link me some laptops for this. And it has to be portable and slick

The problem is. For holidays I go to Christmas in France for about 3 weeks. And the problem there is the county I live in for most of the year has no way of being able to send a laptop all the way back to england[DOUBLEPOST=1539256045][/DOUBLEPOST]

It would still worth be looking into. Look into the seller's individual reputation and make the choice whether to trust them or not.

Look if you're not comfortable at all, then might as well go with a brand new laptop, but that'll be expensive.

I suppose so. But considering my parents will make the purchase. And they find eBay to be sketchy as fuck. They will probably say no.

It really depends on what you want for your scenarios. If you really want a Razer Blade Stealth, go for it. Ultrabooks are very similar except a few different features, here and there. So if you want a Razer Blaze Stealth, just get it. You won't find a better option, just a different one.

i realized that i cant get the razer

but if it was your decision, would you get the xps 13 9350
or the surface laptop (probably the base model)

because design is a big thing for me, and i prefer the surface laptop design, but i am buying a laptop for editing too, meaning it has to be powerful, and the xps 13 wins in power, but design is huge for me

You can sell your current laptop via craigslist [or your country's alternative] or ebay and add that money and buy your razor blade.

im underage mate, plus my parents buy the flights, my parents aint made of money, we only go france ireland and england for fucking christmas,

but your second point was good, however the country i live in is the bigger undeveloped shithole ever, and i hate it, it hasnt even got a mcdonalds or kfc

anyways back to the point

i only go to christmas for 3 weeks, i doubt that would be enough time to sell it
