I think we can all agree that having New Members that have 3 messages bidding loads of money on Accounts and ect is out of hand due to most of them scamming and trying to get a valuable account. I think MCM should do is make it so they have to have so much +rep or messages and not be a new member.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

There is already another thread open suggesting the exact same thing, but I just don't understand why we would. We already warn users if they falsely bid on something.

Idk it just bugs me how on OG's and Semi-OG's alike and just in general these new members that joined a day ago are bidding $500 on stuff when everyone knows they are scammers :/

They might not be. Assuming everyone is a scammer is risky. Sure, assume they're a potential scammer, and act accordingly, but if you assume people are scammers just because they didn't join this site half a year ago, you're gonna have a bad time.

the $500 case might be true, but it might also be true they're a legit person who only now figured out this site exists.
I've had clients who joined this site a week before contacting me who offered $300+ and were legit.

Well, the blatant people are still gonna be there if you restrict bidding to people who've been here awhile. Except this time they'll have created the account a month or so earlier and done only the bare minimum to get in.

The problem is that it is hard to tell who is a new member trying to make a name for themselves and who is a scammer. It would be quite easy for both to be mistaken for the other. But, this could easily be fixed by a middleman.
