I'm going to order my PC parts soon, please leave some feedback. I will obviously upgrade in the future as these are not the best parts, but leave your opinions and what I should change/fix. Thanks ;)

If you can squeeze it in your budget by cutting other areas, or by increasing your budget a bit, I'd very very strongly recommend getting yourself an SSD to use as a boot drive. It makes a world of difference.

Thank you everyone for the input. will invest in an SSD, should I get an external one or an internal one?

The SSD will need to be an internal drive for you to boot properly from it, else it'll be restricted by the USB transfer rates and will make having it completely pointless.

Personally I wouldn't bother with an external one as it is a tad pointless. The only way I would justify it is if you run out of space and your rig is full.

Even then that would be fairly pointless, as you'd be restricting your drive to a ~60MBps transfer speed, compared to a ~520MBps (if I remember correctly) transfer speed of an internal drive. At that speed you might as well just get a mechanical external drive, unless you care about impact resistance.

What do you mainly use your computer for? I'll tell you if it's worth buying an SSD.

What games do you play? For roughly the same price of your current card, you could get a GTX 960 4GB.

I have that and it can handle pretty much alles games at max in 2k.

It depends what you use your PC for. I am assuming gaming in this instance. It should be enough to produce a smooth experience; once you get the chance though, get that beastly i7 processor.

The i5 is going to last really long as it's quite a new and powerful CPU.
i7 is better of course but don't make him think that he will need a upgrade before he even purchased the build.

If you're on a budget or tight on money, I would suggest cutting down to a i5 4460 to squeeze in a SSD. The i5 4460 is still a great CPU. I have one myself and I'm happy with it.
Don't do this, your CPU is long term and harder to upgrade. You can always add a SSD and you can have your pc with 2 drives.
