New Resource Mod

There is currently 130 resources waiting to be approved by resource moderators however both are inactive atm and its been 16 days since the last one was accepted. There are also multiple resources waiting to be transferred over to new authors.

Zeiyon is currently inactive and has told me hes unaware when he will be active again. I currently don't know about Justis not seen him online in a while. I am willing to step up until they are back online to prevent backlog.

I have been uploading resources for 3 years and I am fully aware of the resource rules to which is allowed and which is not. Im aware this is against a few rules however the community is getting more and more annoyed each day waiting for their resources to be accepted.

• 1.11 Do not post content requesting the addition of a specific member into staff, staff are hand picked when necessary.
• 1.11.1 Do not post content which suggests you or another member want to be or should be considered for staff.
• 1.20.2 Do not add staff members to a conversation related to or requiring staffing duties without prior permission.

I accept any warning points if you decide to give them regarding this.

I don't think it's as easy as "I know the rules" either :shrug: but yeah we need another resource moderator that is hand-picked/applies and not tagging mick to become one in a suggestion

You can't prevent a back-log because there's already a serious one anyways

I am aware this has probably reduced the chances of myself being "Hand-Picked" by a lot however I'm only looking out for the community who upload resources daily so trying to bring attention to it before its too late. The current back-log is non resource related ATM which I want to prevent.

I think we should make a game out of making suggestions that ask for more staff members. Sounds like a good idea to me. The staff are letting this site down and the community is trying to solve it.

I am very much interested in hiring an additional resource moderator to supplement Zeiyon, since there are times when I can’t cover stretches of unexpected inactivity that overlap with my own. (He’s back now)

However, besides administration, the resource moderation position is perhaps the one that puts the community most at risk, since every resource moderator will need free and unlimited access to every paid resource download ever uploaded by every seller in our community. It goes without saying that our administration absolutely cannot grant this position to a person who we cannot unreservedly trust to bear in hand MC-Market’s reputation and the security of all of our resource seller’s products.
I will not take chances when it comes to keeping our sellers’ products safe.

Unfortunately, I see nobody who fits my criteria, and has the required skill sets.
It is likely that we’ll need to introduce one of our experienced mods into the resource moderation position. We’re currently in the training and promoting process of our last staff member hiring wave, so such considerations will need to be made after the cycle is complete and we’re able to analyze each settled member.
