Seems pretty laggy to me...

I think OBS is the best.
I have the full version of Action and Fraps.

Fraps limits your FPS to whatever you record at which is irritating.

Action requires you to export twice between their codex and a readable one.

OBS lets you limit the record at the bitrate of your harddrive, which is pretty useful, and I don't lag because of that (I record at 15mbps 1960x1080 60fpx 1080). Oh yeah. It's also free. Comes with streaming too

Eh? Fraps is just fine for me as with some other recording software I've tried (hypercam, action etc) the hotkeys didn't want to work, or they'd end up not recording my game and record my desktop lol.

OBS is great if you know good settings and stuff. I have used many times previously. Its great!

obs, fully customizable and free. may lag for some users with shitty computers or unoptimized settings.

I personally recommend bandicam full version for gameplay recording because i didn't get lag when recording and it doesn't take as much space as action does (action takes 30gb for 30 mins -.-) i have a pretty shitty pc and bandicam worked just fine!

Thanks for the suggestion! I will try Action for a few more vids and if I dislike I will definitely consider buying Bandicam

you can shrink the file size with a product called handbrake i use it and it works

well, I obviously don't know how to use OBS yet, since my video quality does not seem to rise above 360p...
I'll stick with Dxtory, I've already bought it anyway.
