New server help..

Hello Everyone,

Hope your all okay, I’m currently looking at making a new server and I’m in need of a little help. I have owned a server before called GalaxyCrafters and let it fall. I had the logos.. domains.. banners.. ext.. So i still have all these new items so that will reduce the price a little i also have a spawn saved which i had built as well. The reason i let the server fall is because of family issues and player count was low and wasn’t making any money but i didn’t care about that i just cared about people having fun on the server. I would like to open a new server and build it from scratch but use some things i had of my old server to reduce price such as my xenforo, spawn, server name. The one thing I’m lacking on is knowledge as i still play Minecraft but I’m not sure what players want in a server so if i was to make a sky block server what would people want too see on the server? What plugins are worth buying or having made. Im also looking for a reliable group of friends that can help me create the server and help it become big and strong, My goal would be to make a server in 2 - 6 months with a nice player count were people enjoy the server and have loads of things to achieve on the server. If you were to make a skyblock server I think one of the most important things that are a must are some sort of progression system to keep players engaged. This is the most important thing in any game really is that progression system but remember don't come up with something bland be unique about it when making a progression system have some kind of like rewards and incentives if that makes any sense.

To get members I suggest, advertising in some discord servers that allow advertising or on platforms etc.

Unfortunatley I don't know much about plugins and etc, however I hope you find the right person.

Yea I do, are you looking for a custom made one or just one that's out there now?

You have to make it original. The server community is saturated with skyblock, factions, pvp, etc, etc.. You need to make your server stand out from everybody else. A progression system, as said above, would be awesome. Custom mobs and custom islands would be nice features too.
