New Welcome Message {BUG} {HELP!}

So yeah, as you can see on photos i disabled new welcome messages but they are still appearing.
Please can someone explain me how to get rid of them?

1) Make sure you don't have 2 spaces between the '' and the :
2) Make sure your essentials version is updated to the server jar version.
3) If none of that works, contact essentials.

, Put a hashtag on line 5, When you put a hashtag in a configuration that string doesn't get read / used, also if this doesn't work go to the essentialsmotd.txt file and delete everything there.
