The hierarchical is layout of this mock-up needs a lot of work, the navbar seems a bit cluttered together, footer layout I personally believe should be completely different, the spacing of the entire site seems quite off, the news posts itself are well I guess the best way to put it is to look at some other news sites for inspiration. Don’t steal or copy others work and claim as yours but just check out their designs and their style and try to somehow implement it into your own style.
