What single sub-server do you spend the most time on (factions, practice, soup FFA..) - Any HCF server. I use Hysteria pretty much all the time for PotPvP. I use HCF for others though, but my focus would become the server I'm staff on all the way around if I got accepted to focus my time.
Why you should be staff - I should be chosen to be a staff member because I have noticed that there networks full hackers that need to be removed from the network now or soon. If you have too many hackers on the server, it destroys the server base because nobody really likes a server full of hackers unless you are a hacker yourself. I am a fair player, and I can't stand it when hackers play. It hurts my heart, game play, and it makes me very frustrated. And the last thing I am going to say about this is, if there are too many hackers, people think it's okay and everybody starts hacking, which puts a ton of work and pressure on the staff that they do not need and work extra. Hacking doesn't do anything for anyone anyways, it just makes them feel like they're the best when they're not, which I am ready to take on if I become staff. I am very religious and when people hack, my heart is kind of hurt, for some odd reason. I believe everybody should follow the rules of life, in a minecraft game or not. I am very firm and assertive with what I am doing. I am very organized, just something that I have stuck to. Being organized is great because that way you don't have a hard time trying to find things like records of a persons history. I am also very welcoming and humble to all no matter if they are caring which is also a quality I have. Also, we have a community that is growing quickly in numbers so we need as much help as we can get, and I believe I am ready to take on that position and work my job like no other. I am also not lazy at all when a task is in front of me, therefore being a staff member will not make me lazy and complain but completing my goals I want to accomplish. Goals are good because they make you feel good. We have a ton of hackers and toxic people at Hysteria who will spam chat, and do anything or whatever it takes to get some how any attention. That isn't a bad thing in my eyes, it is only bad if it isn't taken care of. Another reason I should be chosen as staff is because, I am extremely active, shown above. I can play for several hours a day. I know I have said this but I am willing to do the job no matter what the task is, let me know and I will be there so fast. And lastly, experience. I have experience, which is key to ever, become a staff member, because if you don't know what you're doing, you will not succeed with the job. Along with experience comes what you make yourself do. What I mean by will you let your friends go by and not normal players who cheat? Are you consistent? I am one hundred percent consistent and I would never favor a friend for cheating. I have also mentioned this, but the qualities I have are the perfect fit for a staff member. My main obligation is help. You need to help players to get better in order to maintain a good player base. That is why one of my biggest things is help. You can't get enough. This is why it is important. All of these reasons conclude for me to be the perfect staff member for any network. That is why I should be chosen as a staff member.
How do you treat players - My favorite, respect. Respect is key. If you don't have respect, what do you have? Think about it, if a staff member has no respect towards players, what affect does it have? Well, it has a bad reputation on the staff member who has zero respect to the players, and now the server has a bad reputation due to a mood. Trust me, I have seen this happen. You have to be very nice and humble. Make the players feel special, put a smile on their face. However, at the same time you want to be firm. You also have to be mature, because if you're immature, now the players think it is okay to just fool around, try hacked clients, and that the staff aren't paying attention. Make sure they feel welcomed, because if they aren't they won't come back. My obligation as a person is to put a smile on every single face.
Respect -
You must have respect. This is a huge issue with many of the servers out there today. Only half of the servers these days even have somewhat respect for each other. And if you don't have respect, as I state below, it will absolutely decrease your reputation known on the game forever, for the people who pay attention to this stuff. Respect can come in many different ways. You can do something nice for someone, welcoming them, making them feel good, and maybe even saying nice things and even compliments. All of this together is what powers respect. We need more of it. The best example I can give is listening. Listen to the rules, abide to them. This is what forms a healthy community if you ask me or anyone else on this staff team.
Maturity -
You must be mature. If you are not mature, you will never get the job done, or possibly even have the time to do your job. Be mature. Staff are role models to regular members of a server. Show them to be firm, show them how good of a staff member you truly are. If not, again, you will not be a good fit. Don't show them being lazy, it makes a huge impact later in the game. Trust me, I know many immature people that took it over from somebody else. Be aware of what you do before you do it.
Experience
Experience makes a huge difference if you are staff, You cannot do the job correctly without experience. You need to know what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. Think before you immediately ban someone, "Hmm, is he sketchy or hacking?" Well if you think that, you need to screen-share them instead of immediately banning them which may be false, which also makes you look bad like you are bad at what you do.
Activity -
You must be active. If you aren't active, how are you supposed to take care of reports and pay attention to what is going on in the server like meetings, or even events. What if an emergency happened like a hack, and you needed to be there? Think about it, why be bored when you could contribute. Plus, it is terrible to be inactive because you are missing out on this great community, and if you become inactive, you will get kicked from the staff team unfortunately.
Chat and Alerts -
This is very important because what if there was a spam bot, or someone spamming, or just in general, someone not abiding to the rules, and you're online. You don't pay attention and it looks bad on you. Think before you do anything, you must seek out. Alerts are the worst! In-game, so many alerts come up for auto-clicker, possible cheats, sprint hacks, or anything in general. This is key. It is key because think about it, you need to get on it. You need to see what is going on instead of just watching the alerts go by.
Do you have any experience as a staff member -
Yes I do in fact. We did the same thing, screen-share, ban, mute, check alerts, and all the usual staff stuff. Unfortunately, the Owner quit early and the server was sold and turned into something new. It is now a skyblock server I believe, and I have never been on it since the day it was sold. The player was was like 5 - 70 I'd say a day. It was practice and HCF. I was Moderator+ when it closed.
Another experience was Valux. Unfortunately I was accepted and two days later, they told me they made a mistake by recruiting me and one other dude because the Staff Manager wasn't paying attention since they weren't open and fired us. I made 6 bans in two days, which is a good accomplishment.
Lastly, my biggest experience was on the server HysteriaPvP. I muted, banned, blacklisted, and all that. Unfortunately, I recently resigned. The staff was poor, the server went downhill, too many hackers, all became inactive, and ten staff members close to that resigned, then after that, I resigned. Performance was bad and the server became very boring so I gave up. I was staff for about 3 weeks.
Languages you speak fluently - I speak fluent English and some Italian.
Notes/Comments - Nothing here to really say. However, I would like to give all other applicants a huge good luck with it, and same for me. If I get denied, I will stay play. Just looking to help out and keep the server secure. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
