Heya, I'm looking for someone with knowledge of Nocix for a Minecraft Network. If seriously interested, and have real knowledge, please PM me. Paid Position.
They have 100Gb/s ddos protection. I have contacted them about this and they will keep you safeNocix is not a good host for Minecraft servers. They don't provide any DDoS protection. All you have is your 1Gbps uplink, which really isn't difficult to saturate.
If you are paying a decent amount add me on skype: icedragon.09 and ill see what I can do to protect it.
Unfortunately that's false. I had a few machines with them last year for some projects and I tested the network and they nullrouted a ~1.3Gbps attack. They have 100Gb/s ddos protection. I have contacted them about this and they will keep you safe
For me there protection seems to be great, I have tested on them myself with 5gbps and it still works great. Maybe they have upgraded I'm not sure. For me packets are amazing with constant 19.99-20 tps. I'm not sure what your problems were.Unfortunately that's false. I moved off them towards the end of last year due to ridiculously high packet loss and frequent power outages.
They may have added DDoS protection over the past couple of months, however I wouldn't consider moving back and they don't seem to advertise DDoS protection anywhere on their site.
I'm referring to network packet loss. They use Hurricane Electric as their network carrier, which is a budget carrier and is known for their over congested network. You can find countless reviews of DataShack (Nocix before they rebranded) which mention the poor network. For me there protection seems to be great, I have tested on them myself with 5gbps and it still works great.
