I was thinking about getting a server from either OVH or nocix, but don't know which one to chose from. OVH's server cost a bit, but have solid uptime. I don't really know much about nocix so any feedback/past experiences would be nice. If you know another good dedicated server host that could supply a 32 GB server with a E3 or i7 and around 500gb ssd please inform me. I am on a budget, but want 99% uptime as well.
Thanks in advance.

If you have the money to go with OVH then thats the best option. if you dont, then go with Nocix.

At the end of the day, OVH is going to be a better choice for support and redundancy. However, OVH still has pretty average support.

OVH is an extremely cheap provider for the hardware they offer. You really can't compare the two.
- One is a huge company that owns their own datacenter, one is a small company who has cage space in a datacenter.
- One provides near-complete DDoS protection, one doesn't
- One provides near-24/7 phone support, one doesn't have a working phone number
- One is expanding to numerous locations, one only has one location

I'd take OVH over Nocix if it were me
