Because you have no reputation. And you could be scamming. You have 0 rep and have only been on MCM 2 days. You could easily scam him. And people don't typically sell to someone who has been on 2 Days. And with No Reputation or ratings.

I don't see how a scam would be possible if I was willing to go first via Paypal's friends and family option with a note saying something related to dinner. With the note attached, it'd be impossible to chargeback.

And just saying, I've been on this forum since 2014, longer than you. I'm in the process of recovering my old account.
