Hey everyone,
Over the last few months, I have been working on a Project called YouthBusinessLearning. This is a nonprofit that is meant to help kids who starting online business at a young age. Think of Khan Academy but business.
Content examples
-Courses about learning to code, marketing, and graphic design.
-Courses where we partner with law firms and accountants to learn about legal action, freelancer agreements, NDAs, tax obligations and more.
-Courses about general business practices such as how to sell yourself, creating sales, how to handle clients, etc
-Courses on common scams and what to look out for.
- and much more
The goal is to have people who have succeeded in business at young age tell their story and help others on the way.
Why starts this nonprofit?:
For me as someone who has been scammed over $10,000 along the way and used to make $3 a hour as a manager/developer. I see the benefit of this project being an all in one place to learn your worth and create value.
What are we looking for?:
Content Creators:
no matter what your passion is we want to showcase it and help people learn from those who are experienced. Artists, Developers, managers and more who want to make 5 minute videos explain something and helping plan out content we would love you to aid.
Designers
While we do have artists already, we would love more because we can take all the help we can get.
Developers
While Deleted User 108547 is my partner developing the site, I am sure if devs want to help her she will gladly take the aid.
Video Editors
This is me begging you if you can edit help us out. We have no experience editing as a team and would love to bring someone onboard
Management/Fundraising
If you are a talented individual in management and want to help us run this business and help fundraise we would love to work with you to hit new horizons and help this project go smoothly.
Financial Compensation:
1. At first these roles are unpaid. However, we are working with many companies, people, and other nonprofits who are looking to financial support us upon the release of our phase 1. Those who are contributors make be eligible for full employment once we have a lot of donations coming in.
Project Goals
1. Teach our generations and future ones about business online.
2. Make the world a better place by helping people who are struggling financially gain a new skill.
3. Change the world and help highly motivated people stay out of legal and scammer trouble.
If you want to help anywhere from 1 hour - 80 hours we would love to have you.
