Notch is excluded from 10 Year Minecraft Event. Thoughts?

Microsoft recently announced that Notch would not be invited/welcomed at the 10 year anniversary event due to his opinions on the current state of Minecraft. How does everyone feel about this?

I feel like Notch is very similar to George Lucas with Star Wars. Both created something absolutely amazing and when the going got tough they sold out. However now they see the changes that have been done to their creations and they don't approve. Now they both hold some regrets selling their ideas to big corporations.

That doesn't change the fact that he created the game and built it from the ground up. The real reason not listed in that list is due to the fact that he openly doesn't support Minecraft in its current stage and hates what it's become.

If you honestly believe that him being a potential critic of the game and harboring negative sentiment about Minecraft played no part in him getting banned from this event you're incredibly naive. As for his tweets, it seems that he hasn't conformed to the liberal way of thinking that the media and all the SJWs want everyone to believe and therefore he is a terribly ignorant and sexist pig. He’s not invited to the event due to his somewhat very political tweets. He hasn’t had the best of images recently on twitter. As Ally said, with his current reputation inviting him to the event would probably not be favorable for microsoft. Trust me they value games, they just don’t have a clue how they are supposed to keep them updated and make money. Instead of .NET and 1.9, they should have made official servers...
A great example of Microsoft studio’s wonders is Age of Empire. The 2nd is undoubtedly the best of the trilogy (and the new one is utter shit).
