Noted reaction

Simple suggestion.

Add a noted reaction so that people don't have to respond just to say that you acknowledge the bid. It'll keep threads cleaner in my opinion.

Obviously make it so that it doesn't give reaction points, and so that only the thread author can give the reaction. It doesn't necessarily need to be with the other reactions, just some sort of button to acknowledge a bid without having to reply to all of them.

Thoughts?

Edit: I'm aware that you aren't supposed to suggest reactions, but this is more of a feature that I think would be useful. Like I said it doesn't have to be along with the other reactions, just somewhere on the post.

i get the idea behind it but the reaction still lacks necessity. dev will have to do extra work to make sure only thread starter can use it, that too for certain subforums only.

also wth would it look like anyway, just don't be lazy and type "noted" to acknowledge someone's time on your thread.

This would take too much work to implement, and for what? So you don't have to say "Noted"? I get where you're coming from, but trust me this isn't just a "simple" task. It would take too much time and the reward is very low.
Doesn't seem worth it to me.
