This is a tiny change that might be helpful to certain people. Polls are supposed to be used for people to gather others' thoughts, and their opinions. Sometimes, they can forget, and never realize that. This could be a simple feature similar to the "Watch Thread" feature, except inside it would be "Watch Poll". Obviously, there would be many impacting factors, such as people changing their answers. There could be a new system to either enable, or disable those messages. I've personally had many issues with this. I'm trying to get the communities opinions, but I never know what they actually vote.

They haven't even fixed not getting a notification on reputation doubt this will be added for a while.

I don't see how this is really beneficial? Receiving a notification every time someone fills out a poll just seems completely unnecessary. If you'd like to keep track of a thread and its content you can use the 'Watch Thread' functionality, but this just seems like unnecessary custom development in my opinion.
