November 1st - The night of Halloween

Spoiler: 1st Story

It was a gloomy day, on the night of Halloween. It was already very dark outside and chilling to anybody who dared to walk out on the vicious streets. I was out with friends as a normal teenager would, and was walking around peoples houses. BOO! A flash flickered making us all jump in fear as it carried on flickering. BANG! A firework went off near us and it was so load sounded like a gun shot from a mischievous murder. We walked around for hours knocking on people’s doors. Tick tock tick tock.... 1 hour later We decided to go to our friends house, and knocked multiple times.... no answer, we expected it. We decided to attempt to jump a tall wooden wall which had been used for many........ acts of vandalism (thought I was going to say murders). Anyhow, we attempted to climb in. Out of thin air, we heard “OIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!”, a loud petrifying sound, which sounded like a grown man. Without looking back, we ran for our lives, our blood pumping around our body. BADUM BADUM BADUM! You could hear our hearts beating. We decided to check who it was after running a decent amount, and it was our friend who we knocked for. He was laughing harder than a joke which makes the whole class laugh. We messed around with him because of it but in the end went the safe and normal route. On my way home, I only went with one friend, but left him and went my own direction. I entered my house expecting people to be home, but it was silent, quieter than a desert. It was dark, no lights to be seen. I expected them to be asleep, but I smelt something... it wasn’t nice, smelt like a dead body. I tip-toed my way towards the light switch while my heart was pounding and flicked it on without looking. Safely, there was no body. BANG! I jumped in fear as a firework near by went off. I quickly ran over to my room and switched the light on, it was safe. I went up the stairs making no noise and turned all the lights on, and there was nobody here......


Just a single message on the wall, which said, “YOU ARE DE....”, the next day police were at the house and it was a murder investigation.
