It would be great to be able to have some form of OAuth which would allow for logins via MCM accounts or linking of MCM accounts to other platforms / custom content.
Something similar to Discord OAUTH or Google OAUTH

What sort of uses would you intend for this to have?

I can't personally see any actions we'd want or allow a third party to perform on your account via oAuth, so this would end up being a beefed-up identity verification system?

Essentially a beefed up verification system. It would allow for other applications to hook into MCM and allow for custom MCM logins and also for identity verification.

Click on the verify discord button and we'll be able to confirm each other without needing to do some complex "This is me, the code is: blank" thing. It could have a ton of usage. Obviously we wouldn't allow like DMs and friend request or anything but just like Google does where u can request certain things to access and certain things require approval from MCM or just being able to prove this is this user and this is their account etc.
