Hey,
I’m looking to hire an advertisement manager for Ocean Services. You would be in charge of our sales reps and would do your best to get as many members as possible.

This is paid either weekly or through a cut of our profits, PM me on discord (TheCamoWaffle#3239) if interested.

This guy is ignoring me for some reason..
And he offered me $7/week...
I'm sorry for not responding to you. I'll do it here because you insisted on writing on my thread, I'm not going to be going with you as I can't afford it. $7 didn't seem that unreasonable to me for a starting offer as the first person that reached out to me offered a range of $5-15 per week. I clearly said that it was a starting point. I'm also pretty busy with classes and homework so I couldn't get back to you quickly.

If you offer someone $7/week you can only expect a MAXIMUM of 30 minutes of active work from them, otherwise, there's no point in calling the position "paid"...
My exact words were " I'll offer $7/w and you tell me how far off I am". It was clearly a random number, and I said that to him. My exact words again were: "I'm just hesitant because I literally have no experience in offering weekly prices"

Different people have different budgets, you've got to accept that. It might not be a pay you'd favor, but there are others out there who'd most likely enjoy having a position like this.

Like I said. I have nothing against voluntary positions. But calling a position paid, paying them $7/week, expecting more than 30 minutes of work just simply doesn't work. Not to mention that it's way below the minimum wage in most countries.
You're assuming so many things. $7 per week wasn't the lowest I was offering, it wasn't even close to a solid number. Are you going to make me quote what I wrote in the last post? You made up the time of 30 minutes in your last post which I didn't even talk about and now you're using that same figure as if I said a word about the time they would be expected to work.
