Some things that'll improve your site:
Player counts - asynchronous (updates every 5 seconds rather than on page load), graphs, charts, etc
Twitter feeds - multiuser, actual custom ones (not stupid looking ugly widgets like this - https://u.uxs.us/Aii)
Leaderboards - vote leaderboards, kill count leaderboards, economy leaderboards, etc
Announcements - hooked into XenForo XenPorto (https://u.uxs.us/Aip) or custom login system to post announcements, changelog system
