So,
Just today, I finished up my physical, and health screenings. I passed with flying colors! I got a 52 percentile on my asvab test. And, over 100+ on all categories within the test. I am able to pick any job within the Army National Guard that I want. I changed my job from a Combat Engineer to a Horizontal Combat Engineering. Basically, I level the ground for the vertical engineer to do the work. However, I get a bit of both words with what I do, as I will do both jobs at the same time. Anyhow, they also changed my basic training times/locations.
I will be going down to Fort Jackson South Carolina, and I leave June 13th. So, I am looking forward to that. And, I do not come back till September 4th. So, I get to miss the first week and a half of school, so I can not complain xD.
Anyhow, I will miss the MCM and MC community while I am away this summer, however when I get back, I will for sure enjoy my time back..
I am a Private E2 in the Army National Guard, and I can't wait to get to doing what I want.
(For those who do not know what "E2" means, that is my pay Grade, since I have 2 years worth or MCJROTC at my High School, I am able to come in at an E2 pay grade, so I will be getting around 275$ a month, and over the summer at basic, 275 or so every other week. If not a bit more, as the pay is not 100% set in stone yet. However, that is what E2 means)
Anyways, I will enjoy the time I have left on here, and will for sure miss a select few people D:
