I have a quick question when it comes to buying an OG account.

Lots of accounts have more than 1+ owners, so I wanted to ask,

How many previous owners would it take for an account to get locked? Lets say for example, an OG account has been passed down three times, so

And the account has no TID so it wont get aids.

OG owner- guy1 - guy2 - (being sold)

Would the account get locked in this scenario? or would it take more pass downs?

* out the name and then waiting 48 hours to play on the account after you bought it or so
And If I do that then iI'm 100% safe from a lock?

And what if they dont *s the name and buy the account I still wait 48 hours after playing on it? Would it get locked then?

u just have to be careful, the * make the account not 100% sure from mojang, but they can be monitoring suspicious accounts they think are on the market, then once they see the suspicions rise from it being marked sold and then a different ip right after, its like 90% right there.
Alright thanks, I'll remember that tip.[DOUBLEPOST=1477774945][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, if anyone has any other suggestion/tips, please let me know!

Pretty much luck.

*k was locked after it was sold for the 2nd time or so, whereas P*stol has been sold 10+ times and is not locked from what I know.

There are a couple factors though, and you can probably decrease the chances of it being locked by logging in once you purchase an account, but waiting a couple hours before changing any details (Although this means you can be scammed incredibly easily).

There is no "set number of pass downs" that an account gets locked at, and there's no criteria. Buy from a reliable seller though, as Mojang tends to lock accounts when numerous people keep contacting support with the TID in an attempt to retrieve it. Some are just locked for "selling", which means it was seen being sold on here and Mojang decided to ruin your day.
Although it can result in an ez scam by the seller, logging into the account before changing the info and waiting a couple hours before changing info will decrease the chances of it getting locked? How often have you done that?

And what about if I did this when buying an account

1. Ask the seller to * out the name in the thread/delete the thread
2. Once getting the account, I would log on to in for a little bit
3. secure the account and wait a couple days before logging onto it again

^^^ Would that decrease the chances?

I've only ever had one account locked mid transaction and tbh I think it was locked before the tansaction even occurred. I've never done it myself but it would make sense to let Mojang log the IP change and then have you change the info later than suspiciously have a huge IP change and then have all the details changed straight after.

As to your points.
1) Can't go wrong with this, always a good thing to do.
2) See 3
3) I mean once you have logged in and changed the info I don't think it really matters as to how long you wait before logging in to the account again. I think the two triggers for locking are the initial huge IP change and then all the login credentials being changed.
Thanks for the tips, I'll keep this in mind when buying an account :)
