Are there currently any OG factions/skyblock servers? Or have those been completely outran by the new gen styles? I haven't played in a while so what is the current game mode that's popular outside of SMP?

I wish i could play OG Skyblock... I think those server has been outran by new era of servers. As I remember the OG scene wasn't pay to win at all and more fun in my opinion. However as server owner in the past I understand why the new era is popular and outran the OG one. Simply because players wont grind that long for items..

What is the new gen skyblock? Is it like Hypixel one?

There is some, but it seems SMP, skyblock (new) and life steal are the most popular.

I think with all the new updates Mojang are bringing to MC, SMP will sky rocket with players. People enjoy the community aspect of the game now.
