xyz domains cost $0.64

For now, otherwise they will go back to their usual price of around ~$5 (I think).
.xyz tlds cost $1 and not $0.64 (You might have been getting confused with another currency).

They were never worth that much. Even though there were about one million registered xyz domains within the first year, most were registered by domainers who planned on reselling them. On the 366th day 20,000 xyz domains dropped and they have continued to drop proving their worthlessness (they weren't worth enough to renew).

$1, but yet you want to sell it for $5. Not like its a great domain.

This is called a selling to make a profit - you should do your research before you post an invalid argument. Also, why is it not a 'great domain'?

I did research a while ago and I can't remember the exact source, but I found this from a month ago.
