Welcome to Hythra!
Hythra is a brand new Minecraft network ran by UckoDucko and I. We have spent countless hours building, configuring, discussing, and reaching out to other people to make this network.
The network consists of Skyblock and Factions. Instead of going all out and having a 4+ server network, we wanted to get two, well-known game modes down pact as sort of a 'base' network. From here we hope we can build our player-base and expand into a full custom network with game modes we can call our own.
We have a few custom made plugins, as well as an abandoned plugin revitalized to today's standards. One thing on our server which we have never seen anywhere else is our 'Black market'. The Black Market is a new idea though up by us which acts as a central hub for all transactions from 'tokens' to virtual money, items, ranks etc. Tokens are earned by voting (Or can be purchased) and are network-wide, so when you vote, you get one token which is added to a network-wide balance. Each server has a NPC known as Pablo. Pablo runs the Black Market and is the person you purchase items off.
'Pablo' (Yes he is due for a skin change)
The Black Market is a new feature which will consistently receive updates and patches.
Where is the network right now?
Hythra is now due for it's BETA stage, meaning we get players to test the servers for bugs, memory leaks, faulty permissions, etc. As a reward for participating in the BETA, we have decided to add two 'BETA exclusive items' to the store. These two items are a [Beta] tag and Gold username. These items are only available in the Beta, which makes them a rare item.

As of now, we do not own a website. We believed it was un-necessary until the server had a playerbase. Until then, our domain (http://hythra.us) redirects to our Twitter, where we will be tweeting about updates etc.
To connect to the server, you must be 1.8+. We keep up to date with ViaVersion, so for 99% of the time, you will be able to use the latest version of Minecraft to play (Though 1.8.9 is recommended). The IP address is play.hythra.us or hythra.us.

IMPORTANT: Before you begin reading my application. I also want to offer a HCF Map with a koth. I believe I should be staff on Hythra because I am a very hard working person. I am a dedicated person and I will dedicate all my time to Hythra, as it will be my #1 priority. I get all my jobs done ASAP and done correctly. I strive to be as good of a staff member as I can be. I am very helpful and will help anyone that needs it. I'm easy to get along with and very enlightening. I am able to follow rules well and I do as I'm suppose to. I will contribute my ideas and lend helping hands to the server. I can be on the server most of the day except this times I have school, or other things planned. I also have a Fully setup Practice Plugin with BuildUHC, Nodebuff, Debuff, Gapple, etc... and also have a HCF Map.
Activeness:
I would be active and available as much as I can. I spend lots of my free time on HCGames. I would be active if I was a staff member because if I wasn't active? What is the point of being a staff if you are helping anything what so ever.
Communication:
I have Teamspeak and Skype, I also have a good quality mic so communication will be no issue. iIwill always be very active in the Teamspeak watching for players who enter Support Rooms.
Maturity
I feel that I am a calm and mature person. I always get what I need done first and don't mess around. I would take the situation that I have serious and do as much as I can to help.
Concentration/Dedication:
I hardly ever get off track when I'm doing something. It is very important to have good focus when you are staff on a Minecraft server because there are a lot of things happening at once, and if you don't stay focused. . Also, it is important, to me anyways, to always be watching chat. There are lots of things players say that they can be punished for and it is easy for them to go unpunished if nobody is watching chat. I notice a lot of things other people may not notice.
Recording:
I have LioLo Recorder and Bandicam. I can record any hacker and post it on YouTube with 60+ frames.
Screensharing:
I am decent at screensharing because it is a big and important part of being a staff member on a competitive server. I can find some clients but may need a little help every now and then. I have some trouble with finding some top tier clients like Vape, Spook, and Incognito. Other than that its about it. You can aslo just use cheatsmasher to make lives easier.
Commitment:
I would be very committed and do all the tasks I need to have completed. I would cooperate well with other players and help the Server and Community
has much as possible. I think you need someone with commitment and dedication for this important role. I will always stay calm and handle situations maturely. I would dedicate time helping players in waiting rooms and support them with their needs. I think I have the commitment and dedication for this role.
Cheaters/Legit:
I am very good at spotting out cheaters to legit players. Even though I have a small server, I still had cheaters. I can tell by the movements of a player and what they do to determine them from a legit player or cheater/hacker.
Being responsible and respectful:
I believe responsibility is a very big aspect of being staff on a server. As a staff member, you will be granted with lots of power and responsibility. Therefore it shouldn't be falsely used misconducted. I would not make the mistake of letting problems not be fixed. I know that I will make mistakes along the way and I would not hide the mistakes I made. I will be respectful to everyone I meet and my attitude will not change. I am a very respectful person and I am very responsible.
What are your Strengths? I think I do generally well while working along with players and staff members. I never tend to get heated and can also be calm. I can resist temptations from players who can be annoying. I generally think I can perform as a staff member very highly.
What are your weaknesses?
Screensharing can be a little difficulty but there is nothing a little cheatsmasher can't do.
