I was eating a snack while imagining what would happen if my acc got compromised, fsr I ended up thinking of the possibility of getting framed for scamming.

Imagine this scenario:

Someone has your discord and decides to frame you for scamming by messaging their alt with visually the same name and tag while you're offline. They send the same messages to you and their alt, and "get scammed" by the alt. Afterwards, they take screenshots of their convo with the fake you and take a screenshot of your actual discord profile. They open a scam report against you with convo screenshots from their alt and a profile screenshot of your account. Since you were offline you weren't able to reply to their chat and they can claim that you just removed your messages.

What happens in this scenario? Would staff be able to ban you or nah?

Staff should be able to see this, and the accused will be able to record a gif of them adding the reporter and showing nothing is there.

Yeah but there would be something which are the messages of the accuser to the accused that match the ones they sent to an alt (at the same time, assuming the accused wasn't on at the time and didn't get the chance to respond).

I could see this happening to newer members who may not know who to counter these things (or at least a form of this).
