Hi all,

I hope this is the correct forums for sharing this. Please correct otherwise.

Few months ago, we got some excessive hardware for launching my server. Things have calmed down a bit, infrastructure has been optimized and resource usage has dropped. As a result, I've got a few servers laying around catching dust and I'd like to transfer them to someone that has more need for them.

Note that these servers are on a yearly contract which is ending in July 2022, but as a result, they have a slight discount on the monthly cost. By transferring these machines to a new owner, the new owner would not have to pay OVH's installation cost of 100 euro (per machine) again. The new owner would be the one taking over the contract and paying for the machine on a monthly basis.

I've got the following machines available for those who are interested in one;
  • INFRA-2, Xeon-E 2288G, 64 GB memory, 2x960 GB NVMe SSD, located in BHS7 (Beauharnois, Canada)
  • INFRA-2, Xeon-E 2288G, 64 GB memory, 3x4 TB HDD, located in BHS8 (Beauharnois, Canada)
  • INFRA-2, Xeon-E 2288G, 64 GB memory, 2x960 GB NVMe SSD, located in GRA2 (Gravelines, France)
  • INFRA-2, Xeon-E 2288G, 64 GB memory, 3x4 TB HDD, located in GRA3 (Gravelines, France)

You can just get a yearly contract yourself and avoid setup fees?

This server range is no longer available but used to be extremely popular. Some people may still be interested in these configurations.

Still looking to get rid of this machine; INFRA-2, Xeon-E 2288G, 64 GB memory, 2x960 GB NVMe SSD, located in BHS7 (Beauharnois, Canada)

Apparently, which is undocumented and wasn't stated by OVH support previously, the account of the new owner needs to be in the same region. They say the account needs to be European, but there might be another hidden requirement where it needs to be Netherlands (same as my region).

Re-opening this. The following two machines will now also be available. I had closed this thread earlier as I gave away the other two machines, and needed the remaining two. However, nowadays these machines don't fit our requirements, so we won't be needing these machines anymore.
  • INFRA-2, Xeon-E 2288G, 64 GB memory, 3x4 TB HDD, located in BHS8 (Beauharnois, Canada) - Commitment until July 8th, 2023
  • INFRA-2, Xeon-E 2288G, 64 GB memory, 3x4 TB HDD, located in GRA3 (Gravelines, France) - Commitment until July 4th, 2023
As mentioned in the OP, by me transferring these machines to you, you won't have to pay 100 - 150 euro installation cost per machine. They also come with a small discount per month due to the yearly commitment.

If anyone's interested, please hit me up.
