As title shows.

It's getting kinda ridiculous how hosting companies / setup companies are getting their employees/sales reps to spam threads...

So, a 'company' or 'business' should be able to post on behalf of the business

All additional suggestions / addons / opinions are welcome in the replies to this thread.

I agree with this fully, and adding onto this I think that there should be more regulations put in place for how many times a business account can post advertisements for their business daily.

Well yes, but then they would have to make every user have access to create a business account. And personally some people feel more comfortable sending messages about there company through there personal account. It should more or less be only Business Accounts can create Business like posts, which promotes there business and what they are offering/selling

03Gaming, the reason it's so perfect that people would have to have access to the business account to post advertisements is so company executives would only add the most trusted of employees, which in turn would not be too many thus cutting down on spam.

I mean individual posts, as seen by CubikNode today on the hosting section. They are literally all reposting the same thread lol

Fair point, but still. It would still happen either way unless mc-market put a certain restriction for business accounts to respond to "Requesting". But if they do then this will impact Freelance SySAdmins and Graphic desgins massively, more or likely forcing them to move platform or setup/join a company/business.

I think a better option if available for the OP to be able to choose if he would allow business accounts to post on his/her thread

By that logic, I could go and post on every single thread on MC-Market and bump them all, and then when I get forum backlash, I could say what you did, "literally just ignore it"

we are talking about business accounts posting in relevant sections to their business I'm not speaking on a hosting company going and saying oh try my hosting service on an art thread

Do you mean when people are requesting a service only the business account should be able to post on it on behalf of the business — instead of sales reps directing them to the business?

I agree with this thread then! I think that only business accounts should be posting threads FOR their business.

Yeah, not sure if everybody who replied to this thread understood it's purpose haha. I'm fine with sales reps doing their jobs by commenting on their business' thread etc, it's just an issue when they all make an actual post that is the exact same.

If someone is posting several threads with literally the same content, please report it and it'll be removed for spam. I don't think adding a rule for something so specific is necessary when it already falls under our existing rules.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
