G'day Sys Admins! I'm Zoraak, the founder of Beacon Blitz and we are currently on the lookout for a skilled System Administrator to help us manage and optimize our server infrastructure as we prepare for launch! If you have experience with server management, performance optimization, and security, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with Linux-based Minecraft server hosting (dedicated machines/VPS) Knowledge of server performance tuning and optimization Familiarity with plugins, proxies (Velocity/Waterfall), and backend configurations Ability to set up and maintain automated backups & security measures Troubleshooting skills for lag, crashes, and server stability issues Bonus: Experience with MySQL, Redis, and Docker
Your Role:
- Managing and optimizing our backend infrastructure
- Monitoring server performance & uptime
- Ensuring security and protection against exploits
- Assisting with plugin management and troubleshooting
- Helping us scale as the community grows
Compensation:
