Honestly, Hardcore Factions is not worth the investment at all.

Let me explain why for you and to any others looking at this thread.

- The Community
As of 2019, (could be earlier). The HCF Community has been known to be very toxic and borderline 4chan factions. During it's peak with the toxicity, you'd be hit offline for simply raiding an enemy faction. Not really fun knowing if you raid someone you might lose the ability to play games for a few days to weeks.

- The Server Security (during the peak of the hcf comm)
There's a reason "ETB" is still commonly used by the players when a server is getting griefed, staff selling their accounts, backdoors etc, and just pure lack of security on a network are the leading causes of the aforementioned IP-Dumps that lead to in my first point being a major issue.

- The core gameplay is bland, dry, and not easy to alter without "partner items"
By design, "HCF" (HARDCORE Factions) was designed to raise the difficulty of the regular factions which players deemed easy and soft, hence the idea of "HCF" but in 2022, "HCF" is just you spending your money for keys, get tons of items in the first 2 hours, build as simple base on south road, go kill people, if you die and lose your DTR(Deaths till raidable) -[Instead of using TNT to blow people's bases up you have a DTR value that is increase with every member on your faction, if this hits 0. then your base can be mined into and chest can be looted for a short period of time before it starts regenerating] and then move to a new server that's like this and repeat, it's not really a "Hardcore" experience, and yet if you try to make it truly hardcore then no one will play because everyone wants to play the easier gamemode.

Honestly, I'm not here to bash your thread or yourself Smexayyy, but from my view at least 1.7 - 1.8 networks are losing support with plugins (hence why my network is really 1.12 - 1.18.1 using viaversion to step down to 1.7.x protcol support, honestly I just feel for your time and money you should focus in creating a SkyBlock or Prisons server instead, their communities are not as toxic and generally in terms of returns of investment you have a higher chance of making back what u put in and can get a long term passive income if managed right.

To long, didn't read:
HCF is not worth investing into, the gamemode's community full of toxicity, there are already well established servers in the space (viperhcf, cavepvp), that have a track record of doing well. And you making your money back is close to zero.

Again to restate, I'm not trashing your thread. I'm just offering my feelings towards a network designed around the HCF Community.
I do wish you the best with your network operations if you proceed but just please take your network's security seriously for the sake of your community you're rebuilding.
Well written, and well thought out.
The Hardcore Factions gamemode has lost it's touch, everyone who used to play that community has left it for a reason- and not sure it's even close to worth investing your time, money, or effort into it.

If you want to start a server that has a chance, drop 1.8, drop 1.7- go Prison or SkyBlock, those have been popping off.
