Open the server to all players?

I want to ask you people here. Regarding AuthMeReloaded, SafeLogin and etc. Do I need those if I put the server in "Offline" mode or do I not?

I remember for 2+ years that. If you put in the offline mode and a user changed to your username he would get the same as power as I had. But I don't really know how it works now?

My advice is don't go offline mode

If you in offline mode a user can change his or her name to anything including your name, so to stop a user from logging on to your account and doing what ever he or she wants you would use a plugin like AuthMe so each time you login you have to type /login <password>.

There is some large server who got this setup. The player base is a bit bigger then. Maybe not donation, but always fun with people who play ?

Offline servers get the trash players, you don't want a trash community
