Hello MCM,

Due to unforeseen events, I require an interim Operations Manager to join Emerald Solutions for a contract period of 1 month. It is possible this may be extended, or could lead to another permanent position at the company.

Job title: Operations Manager
Contract: Fixed term, temporary
Rate of pay: negotiable per week + OTE

Responsibilities:

• Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
• Develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures
• Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related goals as needed
• Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations
• Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues
• Responsible for all department managers and supervisors
• Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
• Work closely with Director and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.
• Assist HR with recruiting when necessary.
• Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies.
• Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts.
• Generating new business leads.

Requirements:

• Candidate must live in the UK or 1 hour within time zone (+/-)
• Be of 18 years of age upon 3rd February 2021
• Be able to communicate via voice on Discord
• Be able to use CRM software
• Be able to use Google Workspace apps
• Be familiar with the web development process
• Previous experience in a similar role

Preferred:

• Available to work on short notice (less than 48 hours)
• Be able to take on sales representative shifts when necessary (experience required) - on additional hourly pay
