Opinion on my minecraft drawing

I made this with my graphics tablet, I used to drawn minecraft characters about a year ago

How long have you been doing drawings? The body looks nice, but is a bit plain.

I'd rate about a 4/10.

maybe instead of just using gradient add some shading strokes using the brush to give a tonal effect?

I didn't use a gradient

Instead of using thick lines to out lines the whole character use a thinner line. Add sharp lines instead of running over the edge and make sure the lines look neat, this shouldn't be hard to do with a drawing tablet.
Considering you haven't drawn in around a year I rate this a: 5/10

I'd say 5, You can improve by filling your art right up to the black lines and making sure the black lines don't overlap and stretch far enough. its got potential though
