Opinions about new server idea

Hey everyone,
Today I got a new idea. I wanted to start a reallife server. It works like this: you start in a city and with $5000. With that you can buy plots. On a plot you can hire a build team which can build your house or shop. You can work in other shops and earn money by being online. There is a lot more to explain but it's to much. You have a GUI which is your "bank account" you trade with blocks which are worth some dollars

Hmm it's a good but difficult idea. But the build team is for a reallife thing(I don't know how to explain XD). You need to pay to let them build it and need to pay for the blocks etc. that's how the build team makes profit etc.

I get what you mean by you want it as a real-life thing, but that just makes it more expensive / complicated. I suggest going in with the right people and a high budget.

Dedis run very well, and you would need that for such a complex gamemode.

Don't see the point of this. Cool original idea, not fun to play. You'll need a LOT more work before this becomes fun.
Instead of using a buildteam, try using premade parts (schematics) instead.

Interesting concept i must say. I believe you should also add something else - let's say you commit a crime, maybe even stealing from other players pockets when you walk close to them with a special item? I think you should also add a police force, maybe a few npcs(yes, quite complicated, but you asked for ideas) that chase players, put them on a "dead" like body position, and then teleport them to a jail? Hold them there for a night-time in minecraft, and at day-time they get out, if they do crimes again, they get arrested again for a longer time period!

Now this would take a while to develop, but you asked for ideas, so here's ideas, lol.
(as for complicated NPC-s, im talking about pvpdojo style npcs, if you dont know, they had a bot which would walk, pvp, and even soup, pretty cool).

I was already planning that police thing. Like if you do something you need to pay money or need to go to jail or something.

Although i would add more interesting concepts, there's a programmer i saw on youtube making cars in minecraft(with plugins of course), which you would probably need 3D models though.

Also, if you want it to be real life-like, get prepared to make a lot of physics changes, i also remember seeing a spigot gif when you broke a block pieces would come out of it, though it was extremely laggy due to spawning entities, as for gravity, that's an easy part, but that's up to you to decide. If you want to change minecraft's gameplay to fit real life, you're going to have to do a ton of things.

I don't want anything reallife. Only the game mode itself

Then you should hold off calling it "real life" and rather call it a open-world type of gamemode.

It's almost impossible to change all minecraft physics and you don't need to break etc
