I made this banner for a good friend and I am wondering what would you buy a banner like this for? Any suggestions/opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I'm going to give a little critical criticism, You should blend the backgrounds more you can see the stock edges

other than that nice.

$5 - $10 seems a bit overpriced even for most of the more skilled designers on mc-market. I would say $1 to $2 should be a good price depending if you want more people or more money coming in. I would say that if you would want to improve, work on your renders first. The angle of your camera is straight forward and common. I can't really explain how to improve the camera but I can tell u to study from other artists that you compile inspiration from. For the text, it's very very simple. Keep in mind all the components you put into a banner a.k.a. Text, renders, etc. make the overall look of the banner. Anyways, the text should be a gradient with some sort of effects such as lightning going through and behind each letter, splitting texts, shine effect and the flame render. The text should also be in a creative spot. For formal banners, I usually put the text in the middle with no rotation. For other banners, I warp the text to create a creative feel. For the background, I typically do not like the tint. It creates an old feel which in my mind, does not go along with your render color range. For this banner, I would've done a snowy background with a blue tint cc specifically for the bg. Finally the effects. The cc, it's not very clean and it gives a foggy look which imo I don't typically like. The Lightning effect blending modes should be played with to create an exotic look. I would also try out different things to figure out your own style that you like and clients would pay good money for. I'm not the best designer but I would love to help another artist improve.
