Opinions on Gravity charging back loads of money that he donated to streamers?

Alright, so if you don't know. Ok. also known as Grovity has charged back $2,500 on xNestorio, $1,500 on Tylarzz, and many more. (those are just who have tweeted about it.)

In my personal opinion I think it was incredibly wrong to do. I know he has health issues right now and that he quit, but I still think in the right mind it was not the right thing to do.

Anyways, I am curious on your guy's opinions about this whole situation.

I feel bad for nestorio and tylarzz but if he doesn't have any other way to get money to treat his health issues he did the right thing

Also, I feel that these excessive donations to streamers are disingenuous to the entire streaming community. Having been a popular streamer back on own3d.tv when streaming first started, I want to say that streamers should not hope for - or rely on - big bursty donations (female gamers with your tits hanging out I am looking at you, specifically.)

Here's the catch-22 though, and why I don't feel for the streamers: with a big donation it's always wisest to let it sit in the account for a LOOOOONG time before cashing it out, especially in the case of paypal where money there goes any direction it wants. Let those 180 lapse before pulling those extra big donations out. If you're truly a good streamer you'll be making plenty already.

Grav donated $1,500 to xNestorio about a year ago and never charged back or anything. That is why Nestorio thought this time would be the same. That is why he didn't let it sit, i'm assuming.

To save Ok.'s ass...

His PayPal got compromised. He's provided personal proof to me that the hacker changed his PayPal's email address and password. PayPal has helped him recover his PayPal. The hacker chargedback every recent payment that showed up on his account, starting with the latest one and just worked his way down and charged it all back. Why? We don't know yet. But he's working as we speak to fill out nearly 70 fax forms to cancel these disputes.

So nobody continue to sit here and say Ok. is a scammer, because he really really isn't.

Doge can you go ahead and lock this? This thread isn't really needed anyways.
