Looking to buy a laptop for $300 obo
Just need one for everyday use with a few tabs open, skype etc.. so this won't be for gaming.

I've been looking into chromebooks but I want to see if anyone else knows of anything good.

If you know of one just post it below in the comments.

Thanks.

I got a nice laptop off of eBay for $300 (amazing grab because it was considered high end for 2009, costed around $900 original) and it hasn't disappointed me at all.

Laptops are perfect for just having a few tabs open, like you want, and they can be pretty cheap and portable.

Chromebooks are fairly snappy from my experience (I use them at school). Plus, they are really cheap.

The negative connotation towards laptops is due to them being overpriced. You could buy a $1,000 laptop that isn't any better than a $600 desktop (take a look at Macs or any "gaming" laptop).
